Shirley HanlonSales Representative
Leaving a successful career in the fitness industry, Shirley took a leap of faith on the advice of a mentor and jumped into Real Estate with both feet. New to Mississauga and not really knowing anyone, she began learning the neighbourhoods and meeting people. Her favorite activity was hosting open houses. Learning about the great Real Estate diversity and local amenities helped her fast track her knowledge of the local neighbourhoods. Quickly identifying the needs and wants of consumers she was tireless in finding that right fit. “There really isn’t a better feeling than when your clients feel that you were able to help them find their dream home”.
Shifting gears when it was time to raise her two boys, she was always in the loop helping Stephen with their growing business. With the boys in school full time she rejoined Stephen, really focusing in on clients that really wanted to buy “Their Dream Home”. Having developed a large network of contacts and being engaged in the community allowed her to bring a whole other level of expertise to the table. Clients often talk about her patience, listening skills and her commitment to getting the job done as her biggest assets.
Having participated in various triathlons and half marathons, her passion remains playing hockey, participating in several leagues in Mississauga & Oakville. A proud supporter of KW Cares, she is also a co-sponsor of the annual Streetsville Bread & Honey Road race. She also volunteers her time helping kids stay active with the Sun Rype TRiKiDS Triathlon Series. She assists children ages 3-15 as they participate in fun filled swim, bike & run events all over Canada.
Stephen HanlonBroker of Record
Watching Shirley hit the ground running, Stephen also got licensed in 1988. New to Mississauga, he quickly drew on his knowledge of the condo market having bought and sold several while working in the fitness industry. Times were tough in the early 90’s. Rates were high, prices were falling and the economy wasn’t the best. His Broker told him that this was the best market to learn in. “Once you understood how things work in a down cycle you are prepared for anything”.
Adding his Broker designation in 1993, he was fortunate to speak on several “Top Producer” panels. Happy to share his success with his peers he was able to learn from some of the very best in the business. “Over time the number of homes you sell becomes a distant second to how well you can service your clients needs”. Those satisfied clients are the life blood of any long term success. A referral from a past client remains the highest compliment you can get. Clients, friends & neighbours that pass along our name are trusting you to deliver results. Over the past 5 years 93% of our business comes from past and referred clients.
But life is not all about Real Estate for Stephen. A cancer survivor, he knows full well that being in and enjoying the moment are oh so important. Coaching minor hockey for various ages and organizations over the past two decades allow him the opportunity to help others enjoy Canada’s great game. Having run the Boston Marathon and completed Ironman Florida along with dozens of other road races and triathlons, he understands about setting goals and reaching out of your comfort zone to make things happen. As the voice of Sun Rype TRiKiDS triathlon series, he cherishes his role as the race announcer for thousands of kids 3-15 year of age. “Calling out their names as they complete their swim, bike and run and hit the finish line feeling like a champ ...well all I can say is you have got to be there. I promise you goose bumps.” A proud supporter of KW Cares and happy to be sponsoring, yet again, his favorite local race the Streetsville Bread and Honey 15K,5K & 1K runs.
Pamela DugganSales Representative
Following a successful 15 year career in the Airline Industry, Pamela decided to take on a new challenge and became a licensed Real Estate Agent in 2011. With her unique blend of customer service talents and experience, Pamela quickly realized that she was well suited for this dynamic industry. Her outgoing character, passion for people interaction and her eye for detail are some of the attributes that she draws on when dealing with various clients, colleagues and service providers.
In February of 2014, Pamela embraced the opportunity to join The Hanlon Real Estate Team and Keller Williams Realty Solutions as the team's new Client Care Manager.
As an integral member of a very busy team, Pamela's primary role is to ensure sure that things run smoothly and seamlessly behind the scenes. She is poised and passionate about reducing the stress of buying and selling a home by meticulously ensuring that the many details are looked after. Her in-house communication, project and client management skills are a welcome asset to a growing team.
Pamela lives with her blended family in Etobicoke and is the proud Mom of four and enjoys spending time at the barn with the youngest member of the family, Nicole. Pamela truly enjoys the simple things in life and the things that make house a home...friends and family.
Trina EarleSales Representative
Trina joined the Hanlon Team in the fall of 2014. Prior to this, she has demonstrated success working on her own and within a team environment since 2003. Trina brings a wealth of experience in terms of market knowledge and people skills. She listens to her clients to determine their needs and expectations to find solutions that work. A dedicated mother with three active kids, she enjoys balancing her time with family and working with her clients and their real estate needs. A resident of South Mississauga, she has a broad range of market knowledge in her own neighborhood and surrounding areas. Given her tenure in the industry and her commitment to client satisfaction, she takes pride in helping clients with their first home and then with their subsequent purchases as their needs change over time. Given this, she services all of Mississauga and areas beyond. "When a good client entrusts you with the responsibility of helping them find a home, I don't think twice about doing the extra leg work involved." Trina has considerable experience working with clients in Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, Georgetown and Brampton communities. When not out enjoying her kids pursuits or helping her clients, Trina loves to take part in many athletic pursuits, yet has a keen passion for hockey. Trina is a player on several teams and also participates in several national and international pond hockey tournaments. Amy ShugarSales Representative
Amy Shugar, originally from Montreal started playing hockey at 4 years old. This started her competitive , team player character building personality everyone loves. Still today, she makes sure she’s on the ice once a week. “It is so important for me to keep physically active, in turn keeps my mind sharp”.
Her extensive 20 years experience in building long-time, important relationships and assisting clients in making life-time decisions along with her own extensive personal real estate experience, made perfect sense for her to be a part of this challenging and rewarding industry we call real estate.
Amy Shugar comes to The Hanlon Team and to Real Estate with an extensive track record of building long term client relationships. The client first approach and her passion for Real Estate seemed like a natural fit. Being from Montreal she knows what it is like to come to a new city and put down roots. After all, the neighbourhood you settle in has a lot to do with that experience. Her competitive drive and team approach make her the go to person with friends, family, colleagues and clients. A good listener, she really steps back to try and understand the person and their perspective and that helps her guide people in the direction that she feels is best for them. "I realized that when people feel that they are understood, they often can then realize the best solutions for the challenges they face".
With Amy's own real estate portfolio she truly understands that building wealth through real estate is the cornerstone of building financial success. But it's not all about work for Amy. You will find her active in various sports where she has developed a large network of friends. Keeping fit and connecting with friends is great for the mind and soul.
Sean HanlonSales Representative
Sean, the third Hanlon to enter the real estate business, joined The Hanlon Team in the Spring of 2015, after completing his degree in Sport Management at Brock University. He learnt the business from the inside out, doing database management, marketing, & social media for The Hanlon Team. Sean quickly did the licensing courses and transitioned into being a realtor. Sean has grown up in a real estate family, and always had a passion for business, which made this career selection a no brainer.
Sean takes pride in helping people find their dream homes, as well as helping first time buyers navigate the fast paced market. Sean constantly stays up to date with real estate news & sale prices to ensure he can provide the best possible service for his clients. Sean's knowledge of social media & online marketing has helped transform The Hanlon Team's online marketing plan into a lead generation model that leads to busy open houses, high numbers of showings on our listings, and record breaking sold prices.
Sean also has a passion for real estate investing and he purchased his first investment property at the age of 22. He sees the opportunity to build long term passive income through real estate, and encourages his friends & clients to consider real estate as a vital component of their investment plans.
Sean loves staying fit & healthy and is either at the gym or playing a variety of sports, including his favourites: Hockey & Badminton.
